What a beautiful & sunny, yet *very* crisp afternoon we enjoyed with California photographer, Majesta Patterson and California florist, Natasha Kolenko! These lovely ladies contacted us a few months back in setting up a magical, Colorado styled shoot – and we were so flattered that she chose to connect with us! Selecting the perfect dress to feature, “Marnie” from Love Marley, was based upon the mountain elegance, Majesta wanted to channel. The soft illusion neckline with graduated lace, and soft net, a-line skirt, was the perfect balance of flowy and statement we were searching for. We headed up to Boulder shortly after hair by Salon Noelle and make-up by Sameera to a popular picturesque trail called, Chatauqua Park. Many Coloradoans are familiar with this destination trail spot near the flatirons, so we were very excited to have the red rocks as our background for the shoot. As Colorado does, we had some random snow that decorated the ground for a late winter feel. In addition, the pops of golds, mustard, and blues in the bouquet and lounge set up were a stunning compliment to the natural scenery. Our *stunning* model, Cayte Bosler with Wilhelmina Models, was frozen the entire time, but such a trooper for capturing the exact look that we wanted. We borrowed gold jewelry from modern California designer, Sarah Swell; the line-drop earrings added a cohesive look to Cayte’s natural hair and makeup. We also paired our private label gold hair vine to complete the up-do, we love when everything comes together so nicely. We were so blessed to be able to capture the beauty of an ideal Colorado wedding (with some amazing out of state help), and we hope you enjoy the photos!
