Where are you from?

Lancaster, PA. I grew up in a small surrounding town. It was one of those towns where everyone knew everyone. I grew up dancing there, where my mom opened a studio. After high school I decided that I wanted to try out a bigger place, so I moved to NYC! In the big apple I went to FIT to major in Fashion Merchandising and began working at Designer Loft, as my first step into the Bridal industry.

What do you love most about working in downtown Denver?

The atmosphere! I love walking around downtown and exploring all the different places. The people are unique which makes the city an exciting place. It’s the perfect size for a city because it feels metropolitan, but yet it is not overwhelming.

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

Grace Kelly. I chose Grace Kelly because she was a beautiful and successful actress in the 50’s and became the Princess of Monaco at age 26. I think every woman wonders what it would be like to live as royalty for a day.

If you weren’t living in Colorado, where would you live and why?

Turks and Caicos! It is an amazing island in the Caribbean that is relaxing and absolutely beautiful! The environment and lifestyle is something I would love to be a part of.

What do you love most about working for Blue Bridal?

I enjoy working with all the brides and creating an environment that is comfortable and fun, while helping them find the perfect gown! It’s great to be able to work with a bride beyond ordering the dress. Seeing the alteration process from when the dress first comes in, to fitting perfectly makes my job enjoyable!

Which is your favorite dress and designer in store?

It is almost impossible for me to pick a favorite dress in our store, there are certain things I like in each dress we have come into our boutique. As for my favorite designer, I would say Casablanca. They are so great to work with and they are willing to change almost anything! Many brides opt to change the neckline, add buttons, or get a custom length. This allows each bride to get exactly what they want.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Acrobatic yoga and dancing! I have been dancing for 24 years and have learned many different styles, but ballroom has been my favorite genre, with a focus on Salsa. More recently, I have been introduced to acrobatic yoga. It is a unique challenge in strength and flexibility.

Veil or birdcage?

This is a tough one! I personally like birdcages better because of the dramatic feel. It also shows off a vintage side. I have always been intrigued by the fashions of the 1920’s through the 1940’s.

What is one talent you wish you had?

I already have this talent, but I wish I could improve my dancing skills even more. To be at the level of a professional dancer has always been my dream!

Kittens or Puppies?

Definitely puppies! Is this a real question?!
