With so many trunk shows coming up this season (yay!) we thought it would be helpful to walk you through what a trunk show is and to answer some of the most commonly asked questions about trunk shows!
Q.) WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?
A.) A trunk show is a special event where we feature a designer’s new dress collection for a short period of time, typically on a weekend! Think of it as more dresses to choose from (YAY!) with extra discounts + incentives that create a more exclusive experience! Most of these dresses are not part of our regular collection, so it is likely they will only visit our store once! A trunk show is often the BEST time to find your dress + get the best deal!
Q.)CAN I JUST COME IN FOR THE SHOW OR DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
A.) We require appointments at all times, especially trunk shows! Since the collection only visits for a short amount of time, this means appointments are in higher demand + we recommend booking your appointment NOW to reserve your time! During your appointment, you will receive one-on-one time with your consultant to walk you through the trunk show dresses, explain the ordering process, style you with accessories + help you say “YES!” to your dream dress!
Q.) WHAT IF I WANT TO SEE ALL OF YOUR DRESSES AND NOT JUST TRUNK SHOW ONES?
A.) By scheduling an appointment, you will have access to viewing ALL of our dresses in addition to the trunk show styles! Booking your appointment during the trunk show essentially just gives you a wider selection to choose from!
Q.) IF I FIND MY DRESS AT THE TRUNK SHOW, CAN I ORDER IT LATER WHEN MY MOM/M.O.H/M.O.G/BESTIE IS IN TOWN?
A.) We *highly* recommend scheduling your appointment when all of your VIP guests can attend! Be sure to bring those guests whose opinions, support + love mean the most to you in helping find the perfect dress! If you were to fall in love with a gown at a trunk show, it is likely you will need to order during the event in order to take advantage of the designer’s incentives! Typically these dresses are not part of our regular inventory and exclusively featured, meaning that if you leave and return at a later date to order we very well may not have access to ordering that dress any more from the designer! We understand that schedules can be tricky to coordinate, however, if you’re able to gather everyone together, it is sure to be a much better experience than to fall in love with a dress without having your most important guests with you!
Q.) WHAT IF I AM NOT AVAILABLE TO COME TO A SPECIFIC TRUNK SHOW? DO YOU HAVE OTHER EVENTS?
A.) We do! Our website is up to date with all of our upcoming events + trunk shows! There are no guarantees that the same dress will be visiting at another trunk show at a later date! We work closely with the designer to be able to show as many new styles as possible, and it’s common that they will opt to change out trunk show dresses for other styles or sizes to show new brides! Keep this in mind if you’re wanting to wait on your order, and remember that sometimes certain styles are only exclusive to the dates booked!
